St. Joseph's Youth Ministry goal is to educate youth on various aspects of the Catholic Church. One important aspect is that of service. We are called to follow in Christ's footsteps. For the Bible says "For who is greater, the one who is at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one at the table? But I am among you as one who serves." (Luke 22:27). Jesus reminds us that unlike the world who teaches us to seek fame, fortune, and authority we are called to genuinely serve others.

“Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good; love one another with brotherly affection; outdo one another in showing honour. Never flag in zeal, be aglow with the Spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in your hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints, practise hospitality” (Rom 12: 9-13).
