Habemus Papam!

On the 5th vote the Cardinals gathered in the Vatican’s Sistine Chapel have elected Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost as the 267th Pope, who took the name Pope Leo XIV. Pope Leo XIV is the first Pope born in the United States, originally from Chicago. He is also a citizen of Peru, where he worked for many years. Prevost was the head of the church's Dicastery for Bishops.

Annual Catholic Appeal!

It is that time again to kick-off the Annual Catholic Appeal. This is the annual appeal that funds the ministries of our archdiocese here in Western Washington. The theme this year is “Together in faith.” Our regional ministries help us support our mission to encounter Christ and live out the joy of the Gospel, and that is only possible through the help of the Annual Catholic Appeal. Parish Family 45 Jubilee Pilgrimage Walk

On May 24, we invite you to participate in the Jubilee locally by making a pilgrimage to the Proto-Cathedral of St. James the Greater in Vancouver WA, one of the designated pilgrimage sites within our Archdiocese. On Saturday, May 24, we will walk from Our Lady of Lourdes and Saint Joseph, arriving at Proto-Cathedral of St. James the Greater, Vancouver at 11:00 am where we will celebrate Holy Hour. We will depart from Our Lady of Lourdes at 10:00 am, and depart from St. Joseph at 9:00 am.
