PREPARES is a nurturing response of the Catholic community in Washington state, open to all, to provide meaningful, local and sustainable support to mothers, fathers, and families. Volunteers at the PREPARES program offer support and activities for families at any time from pregnancy to a child’s fifth birthday.
PREPARES for Life is a growing ministry at St. Joseph's, currently our service includes:

Volunteers are creating meaningful relationships with teen parents in a class room setting.

Our companion volunteers are providing loving and supportive friendship to parents with young children.

We are building connections with Bridgeview Family Resource Center, a place serving young families just 1 mile from St Joseph’s campus. Periodically, PREPARES for Life hosts activities for families with young children.

PREPARES for Life holds regular free diaper distributions for families to help alleviate this financial pressure.
